New (Broken) Flight Search Site

I notice a review in the NYT about a new online tool for searching and sorting through your options for getting somewhere by air. Looks nice, but read the comments to find out that, once again, David Pogue neglects to do the most rudimentary research before recommending what he thinks is new technology to his readers. The new travel site doesn’t really work, and there is something very similar, that does work, and that has been available for quite some time (and where I’m going from now on instead of Travelocity).

The Times is perplexing. So many deep, thoughtful, well-researched articles; such great journalism. But when it comes to certain topic areas the journalistic standard for research seems to stop at “ooo, shiny!”.
