Tinderbox link export question

Hello all--

A stray thought this morning (recorded in my Tinderbox planners OC)
has me wondering... Tinderbox could potentially be used to mirror
wikis which store their pages as plaintext files. DokuWiki, which I
like, is an example. I can picture Tinderbox retrieving and
exporting material from the wiki source files. I could edit how bold
and italics are handled, etc. There'll be a few tricks, of course,
and I've yet to really think through Lee's system of using Tinderbox
to manage external files, but those are details relative to this
show-stopper:

What I don't know about is internal links. Is there a way to tell
Tinderbox to export links with a different format than as an <a> tag?
For instance with the format [[DestinationNoteName]] or even
[[encoded_Destination_Note_Name]] rather than <a
href="path/and/encoded_Destination_Note_Name.html">?
