Just for anyone who cares I installed and ran tinderbox in an Apple
retailer today and it loaded without issue but I didn't have time to
evaluate speed as I could only create a few notes quickly and drag
things around. Might go back with a real tinderbox file on usb and
give it a look. It loaded and seemed quicker than my poor aging
powerbook but that isn't saying much.
Would _love_ to hear something from eastgate either confirming or
denying there ever being a native intel version though my
understanding is this could be unlikely given the approach Apple has
taken requiring everything to go Cocoa in order to produce universal
versions. Perhaps tinderbox version 5 :)
