paste without styles?

Is there a way that I am missing where something on the clipboard
can be pasted in a note as plain text? The problem is when copying and
pasting from a webpage: the styles are carried over, which is sometimes
convenient, but usually not. I've been selecting the pasted stuff
and hitting Apple-Shift-P, which is a nice shortcut to have, but I was
hoping for a preference or modifyer (like option-paste), but can't
find one.
