Select a note and choose Roadmap view from the contextual menu
(that's one way). You will get a window that shows the links going
in to and out of the note, with the note's text displayed in the center.
You can double-click on a linked note in this view, and the "focus"
changes, with that note in the center - so you can follow a path of
links.
It takes a while to learn the value of all the different views and such -
take your time,
