I agree with what James says above. The wiki does offer many
advantages, but a conventional forum would be useful for many of us as
well.

To this end, I've setup a very basic Tinderbox user community forum.
You can access the forum at:

http://www.rjtorres.net/phpBB2/

The goal here isn't to do away with the wiki, the mailing list, or
anything else -- it is simply to provide another medium for Tinderbox
talk/help/etc. A variety of media can't hurt, especially when many of
us agree that the manual provides only a start at getting us functional
with Tinderbox.

If people use the forum, I'm happy to admin and support it, though any
offers of help (especially for a new logo design at the top on the
front page) would be greatly appreciated. I'm also open to suggestions
about how best to organize and/or administer the board. Right now, I'd
consider this a 'beta' forum, and expect flux.

With community input, perhaps this can be another resource for Tinderbox
users....if people agree that this might be useful, then we need to
think about how to best get the word out that such a beast exists. If
no one uses the board, then very little is lost -- just about 10 minutes
of my time to set the thing up.

all the best,

bob
