In an April 20th posting the author promises features that cover much of the important good stuff offered by PulpFiction and Shrook 2, but there is no sign of the new version yet (as of May 18th).

Update: (Thursday; July 6, 2006): Version 2.1 includes synchronization and sharing of subscriptions.

Jonathan 'Wolf' Rentzsch has worked out a way to rearrange the panes of NetNewsWire to create a widescreen view in the free version (something similar is available in the paid version). If nothing else, this is a great example of how you can use Interface Builder to change the way a program behaves even if you don't have the source.
